On November 16, 2025, you are invited to the 8th edition of the Magog Christmas Market at La Ruche high school. It’s the perfect opportunity to get a head start on your Christmas shopping and get it done before the December rush. In addition to shopping at the many kiosks, you are invited to bring non-perishable food items for the Memphrémagog food bank’s Christmas baskets. All details here (French only).
Magog Ice Trail | date to be confirmed in 2025

When the cold weather sets in, the ice trail comes to life! Open as early as 8 a.m., you can skate all day long, free of charge. Once night falls, the trail is lit up, inviting you to discover the majesty of the lake in the dark. Of course, stop by Kóz Bistro to warm up after your outing!
Go Pick Your Own Christmas Tree

There are many places where you can go pick your own tree to decorate for Christmas: Downey Tree Farm, Verger Champêtre, Plantation Stéphan Perreault… You can choose your favourite species and fill your home with the sweet scent of the forest. But don’t go too early, or it will dry out before Santa Claus comes to leave presents underneath!

A 47-year career deserves to be celebrated in a concert! The legendary Quebec band will welcome you on December 28 for a highly festive show at Le Vieux Clocher in Magog, the perfect evening to end the year. You’ll be invited to dance and tap your feet to the catchy tunes of this beloved band.
Torchlight Walk at Marais de la Rivière-aux-Cerises and its Christmas Market
Within walking distance of our hotel, this marsh comes alive for the festive season! It starts with the famous Christmas market, which will be held on December 13 and 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, this year, at the Centre d’Interprétation du Marais, where you can shop for your Christmas gifts. Then, between Christmas and New Year’s Day, the famous torchlight walks take place. Over a 2 kilometers route, walkers discover a path entirely lit by a hundred torches. You can even sip hot chocolate to round off this wonderful night-time activity.

This illuminated train will put stars in the eyes of young and old alike! It will be passing through the region on Saturday, November 23, 2025. Here’s where you can see it: Lac-Mégantic at 12 p.m. (Cartier St.), Sherbrooke at 4:45 p.m. (795 De la Rand St.) and Farnham at 8:45 p.m. (191 Victoria St.). It’s definitely worth the trip!
